How it all started...
On April 4th, 2018 the Lord deposited a 20 plus year Vision in the heart of Pastor Horne for the City of Athens, Montgomery, & surrounding areas. After 25 years of ministry, the Lord birthed a detailed & intentional vision for the Classic City. ReCreation Church is Word based, Sports Themed, Intentionally Diverse body of Believers who Love God & Love people. #ReCreationChurch
Expanding RC Vision...
ReCreation Church is believing for 20+ acres of land where we will build two State of the Art facilities. The first will be an elite Sports training facility called ReCreation Sports Center. The Sports Center will include three multi use full-sized courts compatible for basketball and volleyball training, a Fitness Center, Cafe, and much more! We will be a national training center for Volleyball, Basketball, and Health & Wellness.
Our second building phase will be our RC Worship Facility. Included in this space will be RC Kids , RC Student Ministries, and RC Young Adults.
